Full colour printed pens
It isn’t easy to find a printer who can produce a good full colour image on printed pens. Senator, however, has the ability to do this and it is worth looking at the range of pens available for this process. Full colour print can only be done on white plastic pens such as the Hit or Super Hit. The process is expensive to set up, origination and plate charges are £125 per design, but when this is amortized the unit price per printed pen is surprisingly low. However, the customer must bear in mind that this process can only be set up for a minimum of 1000 pens. Call or email for full details to sales@juon.co,.uk

Thoughts on promotional pens
Flicking through the Incentive Business magazine today and searching for useful ideas for this blog I came across an article written as a guide through the minefield of picking the right promotional pens. Here are a few of the points, which may seem pretty self evident but sometimes get forgotten when we are confronted with an absolute sea of information about pen products.
Choose a pen that fits the recipient; make sure it is a gift that will be important to the recipient.
Follow trends, ergonomically shaped pens and stylish packaging are increasingly demanded.
Branding on executive pens should not be obtrusive. A well branded pen can become a collector’s item.
Give plenty of time to make the choice of pen. Make sure that there is time to get samples and test the pens and don’t forget that lead times for printing the pens will usually be 15 working days and possibly longer in the holiday season.

Executive Ball Pens
The other day I received a printed pen from a supplier and I must say that I am really impressed with the quality of this particular pen; in fact I use it all the time. It is a metal coated ball pen, red with silver trim and an excellent rubber grip, in just the right position, which makes writing very comfortable. If you are looking for a good quality pen but at a reasonable price then take a look at the LPC 047BBallpen. Another very good pen and great value for money is the Kensington Roller Ball Pen. It is a fair bet that if a client asks to see a sample of this pen then an order will follow!
